Elise Oudin Gilles

Elise Oudin-Gilles graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré, in Textile Design. She worked for Haute Couture and notably Maison Lesage in Paris then turned to the creation of oil and acrylic paintings sometimes using photo or video. Parisian now living in Marseille, she lived in San Francisco in the 2000s and exhibited her work in many art galleries in the city. Back in France, her works were distributed, in France and internationally (Paris, New York, London, Hamburg, Singapore), through the Envie d'art galleries.
As a visual artist, she also participates in calls for tenders alongside architects.
She has designed and created stained glass windows for the Saint-Martin d'Argentine chapel in Dordogne and for the Saint Maclou church in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine [2015]. Companies regularly commission her works.
These bring to life the walls of a Parisian hotel, the Marseille law firm BBLM & Associes, the headquarters of La Poste and other public companies such as Toit et Joie in Paris. Individuals also commission her paintings, which often include personal messages.
Elise Oudin Gilles commits herself body and soul to each challenge.
She is an artist in motion, turned towards the aftermath. Her work feeds on the ephemeral, signs and contemporary realities. Her art can be light, existentialist. As is her image.
